yoga
When I first started practicing yoga about 20 years ago, it was based on a friend’s advice to help me recover from coaching gymnastics, where spotting athletes is important, which has physical impact on the body. What
gradually became an important part of my life, both physically and mentally.

I have practiced Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Hatha, and Bikram styles, each offering its own benefits. My favorite is Ashtanga, which feels like moving meditation and helps build strength, focus, and balance. Over the years, yoga has become something I practice regularly, whether at home or as part of my overall training and recovery routine.
During the COVID period, yoga became especially meaningful. I led yoga sessions for my competitive team, which helped us stay active, connected, and positive during a challenging time. Those sessions supported both physical conditioning and mental well-being, reminding us how important mindful movement and balance are—especially during uncertainty.

If you enjoy yoga but struggle with handstands, backbends, or strength and flexibility, I can help guide you safely and thoughtfully. Please contact me for more information
